Contact Forms and Weekly Blogs

Wow, I just looked at the date of my last post and I am shocked!!! Does time really fly by that fast? When we started Modern Nana, we really had no idea what we could do with it. Over the past few months we have met so many great people who are doing some really amazing things with their blogs. Thanks for all those who have been featured as our Modern Nana blog of the week.
We started doing something a little different than we had done before. We started to add some neat interactive features to our site. We have just added a new contact form to our site. Now you can reach us faster than ever. We had a few people request it, because they were saying (and I totally agree), it is not very convenient to have to always email a site if you want to reach them. We had one Modern Nana say, "It took me three years to learn how to email, and since I am very rusty, consider yourself lucky to even receive anything from me." HA Thanks PC!! You have inspired us. Now you won't have to deal with that email thing to reach us! Take care all.

Back to the Basics - Basic Recipe Power!!

Because of the high interest level for great recipes, we have partnered up with Basic-Recipe.com. We are now streaming the best recipes available online, right to Modern Nana. We have found that by working together we are able to reach a far greater audience. We hope that you enjoy the new articles and recipes streaming into the website. Have a great Day!

Getting a New Vibe for Fitness

We have now partnered up with another website. (I know what you're thinking, 'another one?') We find that the more knowledgeable people we can hook up with the more successful we will be. Fitness Payback has a great view on how people can control their physical health and their mental health. We are now streaming feeds from their website to place on Modern Nana. We hope you like the new direction that we are taking this. There are so many different things that we are learning every day. We hope that our readers can learn along with us.

Swak Cards

We love making new friends online, one site that we came across the other day that we absolutely enjoyed was called Swak Cards. It is a custom card making group that has really made some amazing things. We contacted them the other day to find out more about what they were doing. We are currently discussing new things that we will be able to do together with them. We look forward to all the successes that we will have with them.

We have been receiving great recommendations for Modern Nana Blog of the Week. We are so excited to share new sites from all over the United States (and even a few places internationally). With this new feature (Blog of the Week) coming soon, we hope that it opens up new doors for us.
We have noticed that more people are following us on Twitter, we are so excited for new faces and new readers. New Site, New Adventure

We joined up with a new online web company this week, we were featured on OurPetiteBoutique.com.  It's a fun little website, that is like a boutique directory. We love some of the things that we have found on their site. We started browsing their little store and found that there are a few neat things that we probably will try and go find later. You should check it out, it's pretty cool.

Keeping Up With Everything

We were so excited when we setup our first website. Our excitement continued to grow as we added new social networks to our company. But, one thing that we have found is that it takes a lot of time to try and manage everyone of them. I find that we spend more time on some more than others. It really was helpful to link our twitter and facebook accounts together, that way we could do as "they" say and hit two birds with one stone. But one thing that I find hard to do is update this blog. Because essentially, we are adding loads of content every day to our official Nana site.

Making Online Friends

We have been learning so much about networking online, we are experimenting with social marketing and this week we started communicating with other sites. We have started partnering with a bunch of different websites that have the same goals and desires as we do. We have received a great response from those we have met and contacted. We would like to meet as many people as possible to really make something great.

New to RSS Feeds

I have spent the past few days trying to understand RSS Feeds better.  I have been using Google's Feedburner to try and grasp each one of the concepts better.  It will become more important to us over time as our site grows and develops, so I am glad I took the time to read and understand it.  You can check out our RSS Feed for this blog, it may spark an interest for you to do some research.

New Comment Section Finally Here!

We have been trying to develop a dynamic comment section on our site to start getting feed back. As our guest writers are submitting posts, their number one question is about reader feedback. We finally came up with a solution for that.  Now it is extremely easy to post a comment and all you need to do is put your name, email address and comment. It's that easy. You can even include your website link, so that we can find you online.  Check out this new section and let us know what you're thinking. Have a good day.

Modern Nana is Getting Social :)

Modern Nana has just joined the Social Media World today! With accounts in YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook. We are ready to roll. We can't wait to see what comes from it.  We have been looking to improve our website traffic a little so we have been doing some studying and research.  I think we are in for a ride... Enjoy!
